The 9602-I Modem is an embeddable Iridium satellite transceiver module designed to operate with the Iridium® network in SBD-only mode. It is intended to be used as a daughterboard fitted to a host system motherboard. The 9602-I Modem communicates with a host system through serial interface at 3.3V digital signal levels.
NAL Research can enable the 9602-I Modem to utilize either the Iridium Commercial Gateway at Tempe, Arizona or the US DoD EMSS Gateway when requested by an authorized user.
